A Movement for
Women in Agriculture
Stock Show Sisters was born from a simple but powerful question:
What if agriculture had a space where girls and women could talk honestly—about confidence, character, mental health, friendships, faith, and the pressures they face—and learn how to navigate them with strength and grace?
Stock Show Sisters is a national community empowering girls and women in agriculture to lead with confidence, integrity, faith, and grace—on the ranch, in the ring, and in life. We do this through local and national events, mentorship, and year-round encouragement.
Who We Are
Stock Show Sisters is a nationwide community of women involved in showing livestock, past and present livestock exhibitors, moms, grandmas, aunts, friends, supporters, and women who believe in making the next generation better.
Our mission is to empower girls and women in the agriculture and livestock community to lead with confidence, character, integrity, mental strength, and grace — in and out of the stock show ring.
We're a community of women who believe in kindness over meanness, class over chaos, and faith over fear. We work hard, we pray hard, and we share our knowledge and blessings with others. We are a combination of grit and of grace. We're strong, tough, and capable - yet we extend love and kindness to help lift each other up and build the next generation of great women in the livestock show world.
Why Stock Show Sisters Exists
Girls and women in agriculture are showing up in greater numbers than ever before—but support systems haven’t kept pace.
Today’s young women are navigating:
- Social media pressure and comparison
- Mental health challenges
- Relationships, boundaries, and expectations
- Balancing school, livestock, faith, and family
- Finding confidence without losing character
Moms and women in agriculture are navigating it alongside them—often without community, tools, or support.
Stock Show Sisters exist to walk through it together.

Testimonials

My daughter Kinleigh had the honor of attending the Stock Show Sisters gatherings in Brenham, Texas! What a special experience and opportunity for her. She came home filled with joy, confidence, and ambition. Having the chance to be and talk with other young ladies that have the same passion for the agriculture industry, has given her confirmation the agriculture industry is where she wants to be. Discussing their faiths and how it plays a role in their ambition to be AGvocates gave her so much joy. In the short time Kinleigh had at this gathering, she learned and gained so much.

My stepdaughter attended one of the Stock Show Sisters summer luncheons, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. She shows goats and was just about to start her freshman year of high school, so the timing was perfect. The conversations were thoughtful, age-appropriate, and handled with so much care — especially around the pressures girls face as they grow up in the stock show world. I appreciated how real the content was, while still being positive and encouraging. It was exactly the kind of guidance I want her surrounded by as she enters this next season of life.

Stock Show Sisters is without a doubt one of the most incredible organizations that has been established. I have been involved in numerous agricultural groups but this one is something I wish would have been around when I was growing up. Thankfully it is now, as my daughter has had the opportunity to attend a few of their events and my heart is warmed every time. The young ladies that lead the younger girls in activities are so driven in their studies, passionate about agriculture but more importantly, prioritize their relationship with Christ, keeping Him the beacon of their paths and decisions. I cannot thank Stock Show Sisters enough for educating, exciting and empowering the youth of today to be leaders of tomorrow.

The Stock Show Sisters luncheon is an event I wish I could have attended during my show years! These impactful gatherings highlight outstanding young women who have walked in the same show rings as the attendees, asked the same questions, faced similar trials, and grown from their experiences into grounded, kind, and inspiring women. I love the applicable topics covered, such as faith, confidence, friendship, struggles, fashion, social media, and boys. These events encourage every young lady to grow in character, in her relationship with the Lord, and in friendship with others, helping to positively shape her future.
